Expressing Creativity
Creativity is dormant in most of us. It only needs a nudge, and it transforms itself into art. As children, we are given crayons and paper to scribble on. This is a slow build-up to developing creativity. The scribbles transform into stick figures identified as family members, then nature influences the mind and transforms it further into flowers and trees. Next references are drawn from the house they live in, neighborhood and playmates. This helps to add to his development. Craft and clay models continue to add value to the understanding of art including the specialized skills of origami.
Some realize their potential at an early stage and develop an interest to further it. Lessons in painting, pencil sketching, glass painting, charcoal drawing and even sculpturing soon follow. As the mind is exposed to a wide range of experiences, writing a journal or a maintaining a diary comes into the light. This trend can progress into writing poetry, essays, stories, and they could be on their way to becoming eminent authors and poets.
There can be times when the creative latent energy continues to be hidden. It can transform later in life through needle and thread, knitting and crochet needles, and even with the help of pots and pans. Cooking and baking are also excellent examples of creativity. Besides, there are different art forms like dancing, playing instruments, miming, drama and theatrics. Body art in the form of tattoos follows close behind.
People enjoy studying art from different cultures. The popular among them are tribal art, Indian art forms, Japanese art forms and many more. Modern art forms are a mélange of such understandings and an interpretation of an artist's perception. Various painters and sculptors are influenced by the female form and form it the base of their creativity.
Art appreciation is also another form of expressing creativity. The knowledgeable art collector and curators form the perfect bond to reminisce over the talented souls.
Art in all forms can be understood through literature and textile industry. The weaving industry continues to use motifs, patterns that draw inspiration from ancient scriptures and its symbolisms continue to revive the old tradition and culture.
Our life is greatly influenced by art. It is rare that we take the time to acknowledge it and develop the skill to explore it further. Art has a strong foundation and will continue to prosper through various outlets for generations to come.
