Simple Origami Paper Airplanes

What do you think of when you hear the word paper-airplanes? Do you think of the times when you were a child and used to make all sorts of different airplanes? The poorly made planes that you and your friends used to make with paperclips, you know the kind that never really worked that well? Maybe you have far better memories of paper airplanes than I do as when I was a child my planes never really turned out as I had planned. However, in this day and age it seems that making planes out of paper is no longer just for children, in fact, many adults have turned this age old tradition in to a beautiful art form and have made planes that take a lot of time and work.

Now as far as paper airplanes go there are many different varieties out there, however, with this being said there are a few more basic planes that people like to start off with for a wide variety of different reasons. These planes are often times easier to create and take only a short amount of time. Once they are done however they look very nice and can usually fly pretty well as long as they are made correctly. These more basic planes also come with some more basic and simple names, here are some of the following names: The Stealth, Dart, Moth, Arrow, and the Champ. There are quite a few more that can easily be made in a matter of seconds that are very much like the planes that were just mentioned.

These planes are very popular as pretty much anyone can make them at almost any age. These planes are made usually with one major fold down the middle in which you take a whole sheet of paper and fold it in half, and then there are other folds throughout the plane which helps to create a unique look that can still soar through the air. The best thing about making paper airplanes is that you can pretty much do anything that you want in order to make an original and unique design. You can easily follow all of the basic airplanes that are made out of paper and once you have all of those mastered you can move on to the more complex planes, the planes that take more time. Once you move on to the more complex planes though you can start to create your own unique styles.

At this point you pretty much already knows what is going to soar and what is not so take your time and are creative. All that you need to do is to use your imagination and put your own style on it, once this is done simply take the time to give it a more creative name and then test it to make sure that it can soar through the air. Making paper airplanes is really simple and fun to do and it is no longer just for children so have fun and be creative and you will have your own unique paper airplanes in no time at all.
